Annette started partnering with Renewal in 1998 and in 2005 became the Executive Director. She has a Masters Degree in Counseling from Chapman University. Annette enjoys working with people from all age groups and backgrounds, with specialties in depression, bipolar, marriage and family, spiritual issues and more. She was married in 1989 to her teenage sweetheart, Scott, who offers a tremendous amount of support and love to both his wife and the counseling center. Having worked through some difficult and challenging life experiences has enabled her to be a more effective leader, communicator, and mental health professional. Annette enjoys relaxing with friends and a "really good" cup of coffee. Her two cats often inspire her to take time for naps!

Linda graduated from the University of Arizona in 1986 with a M.Ed. in Counseling and Guidance. She joined Renewal immediately following graduation. Linda has led numerous small groups and taught workshops around the country on a variety of topics. She currently directs the Renewal Internship Program, helping to prepare future counselors. Linda inspires both our staff and clients to find joy in all aspects of living. She brings experience, skill, and wisdom to the counseling process. Her specialties include: depression, relationship conflicts, matters of personal growth, and more. Additionally, Linda is enjoying her new role as "Nanna."

Lisa holds a B.A. in Secondary Education from the University of Arizona. She taught middle school for ten years prior to pursuing her Masters Degree in Counseling and joined the Renewal team in 2002. She brings her experience as a wife, mother and teacher to the counseling process. Lisa works with children, adolescents, parents, women, couples, and families on a wide variety of issues. Additionally, she rivals the home decorating gurus in terms of decor and design sense!

Sandra is a pastoral counselor with a Masters Degree in Counseling from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, she is a licensed ordained minister overseeing the youth department and praise team of her church. Sandra has a passion for people and helping them work through the struggles of life. She has been married for 36 years and has a daughter, son, and granddaughter. Her specialties include families, children, adolescents, couples, anxiety, depression and more. Sandra expresses her love for life with style and elegance.

Tucson has been the place where Jill Cady has been practicing counseling for the past 26 years. Her area of interest and training is in counseling with children, adolescents and their families. Jill's specialties include depression, bipolar, obsessive-compulsive disorder and more. She also works with individuals and families dealing with relationship challenges and transition of life issues. Additionally, Jill is trained as a mediator and communication skills and conflict management specialist. She is married to the love of her life and has two adult children and an adult foster daughter. Although her children are now productive and wonderful adults, their childhood and adolescence provided Jill with an opportunity to grow and learn humility, humor and resourcefulness - these qualities have provided her a great advantage as a counselor. Jill continues to find that it is a joy and privilege to work with people, helping them to experience greater joy and freedom in their relationships and lives.

As a marriage and family therapist, Rhonda started her internship with Renewal in March 2007 and is now on staff. In addition to her counseling position, Rhonda leads the facilitation of Renewal's Nogales office. Prior to this new career path, Rhonda spent 20 successful years in sales and marketing; working for Fortune 500 companies as well as small start-up firms. She is happily married with 2 beautiful girls, one in medical school and one in the 3rd grade. While enjoying her former career she volunteered with CASA, igniting a passion for working with children. Rhonda enjoys counseling individuals, couples, and families in crisis. She brings to her clients a wealth of life experience and specialized training.

Beth Darland has called Tucson home for the past 26 years. She received her Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Arizona, where she was involved in student development as a Resident Assistant in Sun Terrace Hall and as peer counselor in the Psychology Department. She spent a few years in Texas at Abilene Christian University to attend a COAMFT school and be trained in family systems dynamics. With her degree in hand, she returned to Tucson in 1993 to marry her college sweetheart and practice Marriage and Family Therapy. For the past 4 years, Beth has been working with Wise Words Productions to develop and facilitate educational seminars for various groups and churches, focusing on family relationships, personal growth and dating and premarital assessment. Beth also was a part of the AzAMFT educational committee which sponsored 3 breakfast seminars and one conference in the Tucson area each year for continuing education credit. Currently, Beth is a full time mom to 3 kids, is the treasurer for her local PTO, supervises interns at the University of Phoenix, sings, goes to many baseball games every spring, and when there is a quiet moment, she is a voracious reader. Mostly, she appreciates what she learned in kindergarten, the importance of good friends, playing fair, snacks and naps.

Silvia graduated from the University of Phoenix in 1995 with a Masters Degree in Counseling. She has taught grades Kindergarten through Seniors in high school. Additionally, Silvia has facilitated groups and presented at conferences on various topics related to the mental health field. Silvia is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish fluently and has experience working with people from a variety of backgrounds, diverse cultures, and all age groups. Her areas of specialty include divorce recovery, depression, domestic violence, marriage and family, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder and spiritual problems. She enjoys being with her family and taking long walks on the beach.

Working towards his Master's degree and license as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Jonathan began interning with Renewal in January of 2008. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 2004 with his Bachelor's of Science in Family Studies and Human Development. Jonathan has a wide array of experience with children and families from working as a youth pastor for over 6 years to being a Jr. High Life Skills Instructor for more than 4 years. In counseling, Jonathan has a passion for working with adolescents, families, and couples on a variety of issues. When not working with students or counseling, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and 1 ½ year old daughter and still enjoys the occasional video game.

Wayne Weld

As Director of Development, Wayne Weld brings a wealth of experience and compassion to Renewal. Wayne most recently retired as a financial planner from MetLife Financial Services and has been a resident of Tucson for 8 years. Wayne's responsibilities center on Renewal's fund raising activities to shore up our ongoing needs in operating capital and scholarship creation. Wayne is a graduate in Economics from Ohio University and has course work at Dartmouth College and Stanford University Graduate Business School. His career covers most financial markets and has been COO of a publicly traded national firm as well as CEO of several other companies. He also serviced his country as a Captain in the Air Force and has traveled to 49 states and 8 foreign countries. Wayne has been successful at fundraising for non-profits in the last several years and in his spare time loves to jog (slowly), train for marathons (eventually), play golf (pretty well) and generally hanging out with good friends.

Growing up on a cattle ranch in Montana, Brenda has a strong work ethic combined with a love for animals and the outdoors. With over ten years in accounting and twelve in customer service, she is happy to have found a home for her talents and loyalty. Currently she spends her "free" time with her seven-year-old daughter, Emma and is completing a Bachelors of Art degree in Animation. Brenda is truly grateful for the love and guidance from God that has led her to the Renewal Family.
Joseph Rodriguez

Joseph, our newest addition to the Renewal staff, comes to us with over 4 years of office experience and a unique and rare ability to provide amazing customer service! Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Joseph graduated from Santa Rita High School. Through DECA, he acquired his former position with Tucson Federal Credit Union. Joseph enjoys volunteering at his church, whether it be singing on the worship team or helping with the youth group. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies, and going on vacation whenever he can. An important note about Joseph: He is currently a single young man and the counselors at Renewal have quickly discovered that he will make a fantastic husband someday.
